In its 21st year, creative placement’s principal, Karl Heine, has been in the forefront of innovative talent recruitment.

Heine's twenty-five plus years of experience in the industry have garnered him an expertise in national client exposure and concept development. A designer and illustrator by trade, Heine began his career serving local agencies and notables such as: Pepsi, Swiss Army Brands, Pacific Reef, 9 West, and Reed & Barton. He formerly served as Account Manager with Procorp Inc., Framingham, MA and Printmark, Inc., Stamford, CT., where he worked on accounts, including: Emery Worldwide, Ralston Purina, General Mills, P&G Kellogs, Tropicana, Scholastic Publishing, Girl Scouts of America, Dress Barn, Marketing Corporation of America and Weekly Reader.

Heine serves on the Executive Board of the Connecticut Art Directors Club and was lead chair for the Inspire Me event series. He lectures frequently at art schools such as Rhode Island School of Design, School of Visual Arts, Carnegie Mellon Universtity, Central Connecticut State University, University of Bridgeport, Connecticut College, University of Hartford, University of Connecticut and Paier College of Art. Heine was an Adjunct Professor of Illustration at the University of Bridgeport. He is a founding board member of the AIGA Metro North Chapter; and a member of the Type Directors Club, New York Chapter; Advertising Club of Connecticut and Art Directors Club/NYC.
